Sponsored by Briggs & Stratton, this Battle of the Bands contest had almost 800 submissions in 2009 and some very amazing performers got recognition at the same time. In that contest the winner was The Run Around and they were whisked off to Milwaukee where they got to perform and were given the first class rock star red carpet reception with limousine and even an appearance at the Milwaukee Brewers baseball game.

2010 Battle of the Bands

You may not know this but Briggs & Stratton has had a long time connection to music and have hosted awesome headliners such as James Brown, Blues Traveler, and Elvis Costello! They also have a stage at the Summerfest World's Largest Music Festival for 15 years.
